Greg Jones

Greg is an experienced Senior Physiotherapist, with post graduate training in casting, sports injury, dry needling and Clinical Pilates. He is also the Practice Principal and Clinical Director of Physical Edge Healthcare.
University Training
Greg completed his Physiotherapy degree at Otago University (Dunedin, New Zealand).
Past Work Experience
He has over 15 years’ experience working in Private Practice as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. Since graduating his career has taken him to New Zealand, the United Kingdom and back to Australia. Whilst working in the UK, Greg developed rehabilitation programs for hip, knee and shoulder joint replacements. Greg has worked with various sports teams including Illawarra Rugby, Wollongong Tech Waratahs and University of Wollongong Rugby Clubs. In addition to working with top athletes, he also treats people who are suffering from chronic and degenerative conditions.
Treatment Approach
Greg focuses on an evidence based approach that facilitates patient mobility, effective breathing, strengthening and conditioning.
Special Clinical Interests
Greg has a strong interest in spinal, shoulder, hip and knee rehabilitation and has developed an ACL rehabilitation program specific for the iPhone.
Personal Interests
In his spare time Greg enjoys surfing, swimming and sneaking to the snow. When not at work, he can often be seen floating around the shores of the northern suburbs.

Erin Brighenti

Erin will be on maternity leave from July 2026.
Erin is a Physiotherapist with postgraduate training in Clinical Pilates, Sports Physiotherapy, Dry Needling and Women’s Health Physiotherapy.
University Training
Erin graduated from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy.
Past Work Experience
Erin has worked in private practice and on field with various sporting teams.
She has worked with the Canberra district NEAFL team and local soccer and rugby teams across her career as a physiotherapist.
Treatment Approach
Erin appreciates and understands the importance of personalised rehabilitation for every individual, including group physiotherapy sessions.
Special Clinical Interests
Erin has developed a passion in working with physically active individuals looking to achieve their goals. Erin’s main area of interest in Clinical Pilates is postural alignment and correcting poor lumbo-pelvic control which can contribute to overuse injuries. Also trained in Women's Health, Erin has a passion treating bladder and bowel, prolapse, pelvic pain, pregnancy and post-natal issues. She also enjoys treating spinal, knee and soft tissue injuries as she understands the limitations they cause having undergone two knee surgeries herself. As a result, she is passionate about returning clients to their pre-injury and sporting lifestyle as quickly as possible.
Personal Interests
In her spare time, you’ll see Erin playing touch football, hitting the beach or curled up with a good book.

Jack Nuske

Physiotherapist
Jack is a qualified Physiotherapist with a strong interest in sports and lower limb rehabilitation.
University Training
Jack has completed a Master of Physiotherapy from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Wollongong. He has also completed several postgraduate professional development courses focused on sports physiotherapy, knee injury assessment and return to sport. Jack has achieved his Sports Physiotherapy Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications.
Past Work Experience
Jack has worked at Physical Edge Healthcare for over 5 years. He also has several years of experience working as a sports trainer, assessing and managing on-field injuries with multiple soccer teams ranging from junior elite to senior amateur levels. He has also worked as an intern at an elite-level junior football academy, supporting athletes throughout their rehabilitation journey and assisting with safe, performance-focused returns to sport following injury. Over the last 5 years, he has worked alongside the Men’s Thirroul Thunder Football team screening for injuries, providing treatment and advice on how to stay in the game.
Treatment Approach
Jack is passionate about developing individualised rehabilitation programs and recognises that no two clients are the same. He places a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice, empowering people by educating on their injury, and then working with them to achieve meaningful, long-term outcomes.
Special Clinical Interests
Jack has a particular interest in lower limb injuries, injury prevention, and return-to-performance rehabilitation for sporting populations - especially in adolescent groups. He is also passionate about working closely with people to help them safely return to the activities and sports they value most.
Personal Interests
Jack is an avid surfer, spending much of his spare time in the ocean or at the beach. Having lived overseas and spent plenty of time on road trips, he’s always open to new adventure recommendations. He also never misses an opportunity to say hello to dogs.

Eike Prehn

Eike is an experienced Physiotherapist with an extensive background in sports injury management and Clinical Pilates. Eike is passionate about helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals through personalised and effective treatment plans.
University Training
Eike completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in Germany at the Hochschule fur Gesundheit (University of Health), providing a solid foundation in evidence-based practices and advanced rehabilitation techniques.
Past Work Experience
With experience in private practice and on-field support for soccer teams in Germany, Eike has developed a keen understanding of sports-related injuries and rehabilitation. Eike also has over 4 years of experience in personal training and strength & conditioning, further enhancing his ability to design comprehensive rehabilitation programs.

Eike employs a tailored approach to optimise rehabilitation, focusing on client-specific goals and utilizing the latest evidence-based practices. This ensures each patient receives the most effective and personalised care.
Special Clinical Interests
Eike enjoys working with individuals aiming to achieve their goals, regardless of the size of the challenge. Special interests include spinal, foot, knee, hip, and shoulder rehabilitation, catering to both those in pain and those seeking to optimise performance.
Personal Interests
In his spare time, Eike enjoys training, cycling, walking along the beach, or playing soccer. He is also a passionate football fan and supports his home club 1. FC Köln. When he’s not involved in any sport activities he loves spending time with his dog.

Zoe Cohalan

Zoe graduated from the University of Sydney with a Master of Physiotherapy, and holds a Bachelor of Exercise Science completed with Distinction. Zoe holds postgraduate qualifications in Women's Health Physiotherapy, Sports Physiotherapy and Dry Needling.
Past Work Experience
Zoe has gained experience across a broad range of clinical settings, including sports trainer roles across various sports, hospital-based physiotherapy, community physiotherapy and private practice.
Treatment Approach
Zoe takes a compassionate, evidence-based and hands-on approach to physiotherapy. She is passionate about helping and motivating people to live to their fullest, getting them back to doing what they love at the highest possible quality. Zoe takes the time to understand what is important to each individual, using personalised rehabilitation to guide every person's care.
Special Clinical Interests
Zoe has a particular interest in sporting injuries, with a focus on prevention and return to sport. Having grown up playing netball and with a love of running and gym-based training, she has a personal understanding of the impact that injuries can have and is passionate about getting clients back to their best. Zoe is passionate about not only treating injuries but preventing them, getting clients back to doing what they love.
Zoe also has a strong interest in Women's Health Physiotherapy, caring for women through pre-conception, pregnancy and post-natal stages. She enjoys treating pelvic floor concerns including bladder and bowel dysfunction and prolapse, as well as the aches, pains and physical changes that arise throughout these stages of life.
Personal Interests
Outside the clinic, Zoe loves travel, adventure and exercising. You'll find her running, at the gym, in a Pilates class, out hiking or hitting the ski slopes with her friends.

Dr Sara Grafenauer

Dietitian & Nutritionist
Sara is a PhD qualified Accredited Practising Dietitian (AdvAPD) and author.
University Training
Sara graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Science (Nutrition) and Masters of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics in 1995. In 2014 Sara also completed her PhD with research focused on dietary patterns and dietary change in weight loss.
Past Work Experience
Sara has worked for well over 30 years providing medical nutrition therapy to clients from a broad range of backgrounds, in both individual and groups settings. She has authored a text book with colleagues, titled Food, Nutrition and Health. Sara is the Program Lead for the new Nutrition, Dietetics & Food Innovation Masters degree at the University of New South Wales, with students now in their fourth year of training.
With additional qualifications and experience in communications, public relations and marketing, Sara also manages the Grains & Legumes Nutrition Council, a small, research driven not-for-profit education business.
Treatment Approach
Sara strongly believes that the foods people choose to consume are very important to health and through an individual session, Sara helps people to eat better and feel better.
Special Clinical Interests
Sara’s particular interests include paediatric nutrition, early feeding, pregnancy and antenatal nutrition.

She’s an inspirational Dietitian, and an excellent cook, focused on foods in season.

Emma McNair
Dip. Massage Therapy, Cert IV Fitness, M.A.M.T.A
Remedial Massage Therapist
Emma will be on maternity leave from 6th July 2025.
Emma is a qualified Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist and is a member of the Association of Massage Therapists (AMT).
University Training
Emma graduated from the Australian Institute of Fitness with a Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy, as well as a Certificate 4 in Personal Training and 200 hours of yoga teacher training.
Past Work Experience
Over the past 2 years Emma has grown a private customer base throughout the Wollongong area, providing remedial massage, mobility training and yoga classes.
Treatment Approach
She is highly specialised in working on problem areas using a variety of massage and relaxation techniques combined to release tension and increase muscle strength and mobility. As Emma is also a yoga instructor and mobility coach, she incorporates all 3 skills to her treatments to deliver the best results.
Special Clinical Interests
Emma specializes in deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger-point release, muscle energy techniques, posture analysis and corrective exercises. Emma believes all injuries are unique to the individual and targets her treatments to the individuals needs to restore the client back to optimal health and posture.
Personal Interests
Emma’s interests include yoga, hiking, lifting weights and travel. She also enjoys being up-side down while hand-standing, getting salty in the ocean and finding the best coffee in town!

Kirsty Snowden

Remedial Massage Therapist
Kirsty is a qualified Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist and is a member of the Association of Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS).
Kirsty is starting at Physical Edge Healthcare early July 2025.
Training
Kirsty ia a qualified Remedial Massage (HLT50307) and Spa therapist graduating from the Australasian College of Natural Therapies in 2007. Kirsty then completed her advanced Bowen Therapy training (Neurostructural Integration Technique) in 2015, before completing a Bachelor of Health Science in Nutritional Medicine and Dietetics at Endeavour College of Natural Health in 2019.
Past Work Experience
Kirsty has over 15 years experience within the natural health industry including massage, spa and bowen therapist, nutritionist, clinic business owner, assistant retail manager within the health food sector and nutraceutical sales representative. Kirsty has previously volunteered at the Cook, Chill Chat program as part of Healthy Cities Illawarra and The Cooks Community Cooking School, a Your Angel Charity Initiative which she found to be an enlightening and very rewarding experience. Kirsty also currently works part-time as a childcare cook.

Kirsty's personalised therapeutic approach to treatment utilises soft tissue therapies including remedial, relaxation and pregnancy massage, Bowen therapy, myofascial release, trigger point therapy and gentle stretching, as well as nutritional medicine principles and lifestyle advice to ease tension and stress, reduce pain and inflammation, realign the body, enhance energy and sleep, creating overall balance within oneself.

Kirsty has a strong passion for health education and empowering people to lead purposeful, active, pain-free and overall healthy lives.

Kirsty has grown up in the beautiful area between the mountains and the sea of the Illawarra and loves exploring the beaches and surrounding area with her family. Kirsty is an avid cook and enjoys pilates, yoga and weight training. You will often find her walking her black labrador around town and enjoying a nice coffee or wine!
