Did you know that if you have a chronic or complexed condition that is managed by your GP, you could be entilted to 5 subsidised Physiotherapy sessions under the Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plans.

The Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plans roll over at the start of the calander year, so if you have a chronic condition and you have not used your EPC plan you may be missing out!

To claim your rebate from Medicare after payment you have a few options:

  • Claim directly within the clinic using our HICAPS machine with Medicare Easypay.
  • Claim your rebate using the myGov App.
  • Go into a Medicare Office.

1. To claim immediately in the clinic

To claim within the clinic, you will need to bring a few things.

You will need:

  • GP Care plan referral
  • Medicare card
  • A physical DEBIT card - we need this to apply the rebate back into your bank account (tapping your phone does not work!)

If you have been given a care plan from your GP you are entitled to a rebate starting at $61.80. All we need is your Medicare card and a debit card for the money to be transferred back onto. This process is a little long winded but saves you navigating the installation of you MyGov App.

Claiming with the MyGov App

You will need to download the myGov App and also the myID app for security purposes

Please find below links for the myGov App

< If you would prefer to claim it yourself, be sure to download the myGov app to save you a trip to the Medicare offices. Talk to us about it next time you’re in the clinic if you have any questions!

If claming yourself, you will need to have setup both your myID and myGov app on your phone. This may take a bit to setup.
