Administration
25 Hours Per Week (Approx)
Physical Edge Healthcare Thirroul is looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Administration Team Leader to manage the day-to-day activities and the small administration team. Comprising of modern facilities, private consult rooms, open exercise area and on-site parking. We are predominately private billing in addition to worker's compensation, CTP and medicare claims.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reception of patients
- Co-ordinating appointments and correspondence
- Patient billing and receipting
- Liaising with patients, doctors and external departments
- General administration
- Managing administration staff and timetable
- Managing organisation and cleanliness of the facilities
Requirements:
- Experience as a receptionist
- Available for 25 hours per week (min 3 shifts a week)
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Punctual
Experience in a customer service role would be highly regarded but not essential.
Experience in marketing and social media is also highly regarded.

Casual Administration Staff

Physical Edge Healthcare Thirroul is looking to recruit a dynamic and motivated Administration team player to manage the day-to-day activities. This role is a casual/part-time role.
Key responsibilities include:
- To work under the direction of the Practice Manager
- Ensuring the smooth running of the clinic
- To assist the Physiotherapists, Dietitian and Massage Therapist's daily tasks
- Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the practice and exercise studio is kept to a high standard throughout the day
- Answer the phone, take payments, make bookings and manage enquiries from clients and health professionals
- General administration duties such as filing, retrieving and typing letters
- Experience in a customer service role would be highly regarded but not essential as full training will be provided
- Working hours may be between 7:30am - 7:30pm (Mon-Fri) and 8:00am - 12:30pm (Sat)
Requirements:
- Be well presented, friendly with a 'can do' attitude and have the desire to help people in need even during busy periods
- Be punctual, have a strong work ethic and good time management skills
- Be energetic and able to prioritise tasks with attention to detail
- Have excellent computer skills
Preferable
- Experience in a customer service role would be highly regarded but not essential as full training will be provided
- Previous experience in a Physiotherapy or Health Clinic setting
- Studying Exercise Science, Physiotherapy or other health related courses at University
Sports Trainer

We are hiring casual Sports Trainers for the 2026 season to work alongside our team and uphold the health and safety of local and community sports events and more.
About you:
We are looking for outgoing, fun, and enthusiastic people to join our team. You will be reliable, confident and an open communicator. You must be considered flexible and willing to travel to different suburbs of the Illawarra. You must also be available to work evenings during the week and on weekends for game day.
The Sports Trainer position is designed and suitable for Physiotherapy, Osteopathy and Sports & Exercise Science students. This position is also ideal for individuals with a Sports Trainer Level 1 or 2 accreditation, First Aid Certificate with CPR Training and Working with Children Check.
About the role:
- Evaluate and assess sports-related injuries to determine their severity and provide appropriate immediate care and treatment.
Administer first aid and emergency care for injuries during sports events or training sessions. This includes handling cuts, bruises, sprains, strains, and more serious medical emergencies. - Apply taping and bracing techniques to support injured or vulnerable body parts and prevent further injury during sporting activities.
- Provide basic guidance on nutrition and hydration to optimise players’ performance and overall well-being.
- Maintain detailed records of injuries, treatment plans, and progress throughout rehabilitation.
- Advise players on the appropriate sports equipment and ensure its proper fitting to reduce the risk of injury and maximise performance.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, coaches, parents and medical professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to player care and injury management.
- Design and oversee rehabilitation programs for athletes recovering from injuries. Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure proper recovery and return to sports protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with coaches and school/community sports programs to create a safe and conductive environment for players’ development and performance improvement.
- Maintain CPR and AED certifications to prepare for medical emergencies during sports events.
